WHY?

K-pop is characterized by a wide variety of audiovisual elements. Although it generally classifies "popular music" within South Korea, the term is often used in a narrower sense to describe a modern form of South Korean pop that is influenced by styles and genres from around the world.

Something I have always hated about kpop is the fans and companies. There are so many things wrong with both of them but there are a few that stand put even if you just kinda get into it, you will see these.

First the fans, why? That's all I can say, why? Fans tend to think the idol is theirs and he/she shouldn't be allowed to show any affection towards someone other than the fandom. They even go to great lengths to get into their private life to get to know them more or get something of theirs or maybe even something wore. I hate those people. People, or "fans", that don't respect the artist's personal space and personal life. What is going on in their minds to think breaking into their house to take things or pictures of the idol is okay? I'll never understand that or why they feel the need to crowd around them and make it impossible to let them move. I have seen fans slap, pull, push, yank, and do worse to the idols just to get a picture or have the idol remember them. Why would you want them to remember you hurting them? That would not be something I'd proudly say to people as to the reason why they remember you. I have seen a video of fans standing at a distance and not running, chasing, pushing and pulling. They respected the artists and their personal space. That is a way to have them remember you, remember how kind and respectful you were. Another thing is why do they feel like they belong to them? The "fans" will hate and destroy the reputation of a female idol if she dates another idol. It's never the guy, always the girl who gets ridiculed. Why? They are happy and trying to find love in this hectic world and job.

I think if they were fans they would be happy for their favorite and seeing them happy and having a life. They can hardly sleep and perform, perhaps that person is helping them keep sane and they can confide in them with physical or mental problems. Of course the "fans" hate that and bitch about it to the point where they HAVE to break up both because of the "fans" and company wanting to keep sales. They are going to have to find love and get married eventually. It seems it's only allowed when they are around the age of 35 or older. Like the members of Super Junior, which the members are older, they can date and the fans won't hate on them or bitch at the female. It's sad when the young idols can't date and be young because the "fans" who will destroy everything they worked their asses off for, which is completely stupid and ridiculous. It's not like any idol is going to date any fan, that happened once and he is now no longer an idol and lost everything. Also why the fan-wars? All the artists are talented as hell and deserve to be where they are. If you don't like a group, cool keep it to yourself. No one is better than anyone else, no one is more good looking, no one is more worthy of popularity. No one asked for your opinion so keep that stupid bullshit to yourself. Love and support the groups you love instead of wasting your energy trying to bring another group down. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, that is in all aspects of everything.

The company needs to get their shit together for the love of god. Slave contracts, plastic surgery, starvation, not letting them sleep, demanding the artists to change themselves to please the audience. Not one company has been amazing, every single one has it's problems and it's treating their artists with respect and support. They look at the idols at money makers who have no feelings and can keep taking the hate and harsh words with no hard feelings. That's not how people are and no one should be treated that way, under any circumstances. Kpop has a TON of room to improve and get better, I hope one day it does and the idols get the respect and support they damn well deserve. They work too hard to be treated this way.
